Every person involved in Mornington Basketball has a responsibility to understand the important and specific role he/she plays individually and collectively to ensure that the well-being and safety of all children and young people is at the forefront of all they do and every decision they make.

Step 5. If you are successful in your application to become a coach, you will need to print & complete the Child Protection Agreement and Member Protection Declaration and email to before your first interaction with children.


Coach Training:

This year we are teaming up with Basketball Victoria and the Australian Sports Commission to deliver the Level 1 Coaching Accreditation course on Sunday 1st October 2017 from 10am – 4pm. We encourage any potential coaches who do not hold an accreditation to register and undertake the course as this will be a minimum standard for coaching representative basketball at Mornington in the future.
