Congratulations on your selection in a 2018 Mornington Breakers team.
In order to accept your position all players and parents must complete the 2018 Player Contract and Medical Details form and return via email to email@example.com or hand deliver to the office by no later than 5pm on Friday 20th October 2017. Any forms not received by this date will be taken as the player not accepting their position.
Please ensure that you read all the information below and pay your fees by Friday 6th November 2017.
REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT

Your Breakers fees are due by no later than Friday 6th November 2017. Players will not be confirmed on a team until payment has been made. If payment is not made within the required time frame the club reserves the right to offer the position to another player.
Fees are as follows:
Under 12, Under 14 and Under 16: $490.95 includes a 3.9% processing fee imposed by Sports TG.
Under 18 and Under 20: $436.50 includes a 3.9% processing fee imposed by Sports TG.
Families with 3 Breaker players: $1322.85 includes a 3.9% processing fee imposed by Sports TG.
Families with three or more children are offered a $150.00 discount
You may nominate to pay your fees via two instalments. You must pay your first instalment of $260.50 using the link below by 6th November 2017. You will also need to complete the attached Direct Debit Form and return it to the Mornington Basketball office by no later than Monday 13th November 2017. Your second and final instalment will be deducted from your nominated account on 29th January 2018.
In addition to the above fees, players are required to pay a weekly game fee. Your Team Manager may request this in advance. Spectators and players are also required to pay an entry fee at the venue.
LATE REGISTRATION WILL RESULT IN PLAYERS NOT BEING ELIGIBLE TO TAKE THE COURT AND THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS.
In 2018 all players from Under 12 to Under 16 will be wearing the new Breakers uniform this must be ordered online before Sunday 3rd December 2017 without exception. The new uniform will need to be worn by all Under 12 to Under 16 teams for the first week back in 2018.
All old Breakers uniforms may be worn as training attire.
The Mornington Basketball online shop will open on Friday 27th October 2017. Sample sizes are available to try on at Mornington Basketball Stadium during business hours or during domestic competitions. You will be able to try on uniforms for size and then order online when the uniform shop opens.
The following teams must purchase a new uniform kit and will be wearing the new look Breakers uniform for Round 1 of grading commencing in November 2017. These playing kits are to be purchased directly from the office at the Under 12 Welcome Night on Friday 27th October 2017 from 6pm.

To avoid disappointment please ensure you tell your son/daughter that there is no option to select singlet numbers. We are aware that there are number of players that have a number that clashes with another player in that age group. These players will be contacted in due course to change their numbers.
TEAM MANAGER – EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
Our Club relies on volunteers and one of the most important roles is that of Breakers Team Manager. If you are super organised, a great communicator and would like to support your child’s team in 2018 please send a brief email containing your details to firstname.lastname@example.org by 5pm on Monday 23rd October 2017. All Coach, Team Manager and Assistant Coach positions must be approved by the Committee of Management before the appointments are confirmed. Team Managers are required to submit a valid Working With Children Check and a signed Member Protection Declaration.

All 2018 players will need to download and read the 2018 Player Handbook. It is the players responsibility to read this booklet prior to and during the season.
