Our Club relies on volunteers and one of the most important roles is that of Breakers Team Manager. If you are super organised, a great communicator and would like to support your child’s team in 2021 please send a brief email containing your details to manager@morningtonbasketball.com.au

Your duties will include collecting fees in advance, liaising with parents and coaches, attending to first aid during games and training and organising tournaments and events.

All Coach, Team Manager and Assistant Coach positions must be approved by the Committee of Management before the appointments are confirmed. Team Managers are required to submit a valid Working With Children Check and a signed Member Protection Declaration.

There is no ‘Bye’ between the Crossovers of Phase 1 and Phase 2, so teams will need to be patient while waiting for the first Round of Phase 2 Fixtures.

Due to ‘Good Friday’ we will be playing on the 16th April (3rd weekend of school holidays) and we will be working with Country Associations heading to the Under 14 championships to organise a different date for their games.

The Grand Finals will be played for all competitions on Friday 17th September, the finals format will be released next year prior to the start of the championship season.

If you are accepting a position with Mornington Breakers and have played VJBL with another Association you will need to seek an indefinite Permission to Train from your former Association. This will need to be in the form of an email from your clearing Association and sent directly to manager@morningtonbasketball.com.au. In January 2021 when VJBL open Clearances you will need to apply through your former Association for a Clearance and pay the applicable fees.
