WELCOME TO BREAKERS 2022
Mornington Basketball welcomes players to Try Out for 2022 Mornington Breakers participating in the Victorian Junior Basketball League (VJBL). Try Outs will be held confirmed shortly.
Players that wish to be considered for a position on a Breakers team in 2022 are strongly encouraged to attend all sessions and MUST register by no later than 5pm on Sunday 26th September 2021.
Try Outs consist of fundamental skills, drills and scrimmages and are conducted by our Director of Coaching. The age group coaches and selectors are also in attendance to assess players.
Following Try Outs Mornington Basketball will announce squads. These squads are used as a basis for forming our 2022 Breakers teams. Mornington Basketball will continue to move players between squads at pre-season training sessions and grading games. Teams are finalised at the end of grading (in line with the VJBL Rules of Operation).
Due to the high volume of players that are assessed throughout the Try Out process we are unable to give individual feedback to players following selections.
