COVID ALERT - Tuesday 30th November 2021

Mornington District Basketball Association (MDBA) has been informed today of an unknowingly infectious COVID-19 participant that attended Mornington Basketball Stadium (MBS) on Tuesday 30th November 2021 on Court 1 at 8.45pm – 9.30pm. The match was between Flinders Basketball Jazz and South End Spirit Head in the Under 21 men’s division 1 competition.

Those deemed close contacts have been advised (via email) to test immediately, isolate, wait for a negative result and follow health advice.If you have NOT been contacted directly but you were in the stadium or facility at the above time and you develop symptoms, you should test immediately, isolate until you receive a negative result and follow health directions.

Mornington District Basketball Association (MDBA) has been made aware that an unknowingly infectious COVID-19 case attended Mornington Basketball Stadium (Mornington Secondary College) Basketball Court 3 on Saturday 27th November 2021 between 8am – 9.30am. The match was between MMBC Leapers and Osborne Utd Rockets.Those deemed close contacts have been advised (via email) to test immediately, isolate, wait for a negative result and follow health advice.If you have NOT been contacted directly but you were in the stadium or facility at the above time and you develop symptoms, you should test immediately, isolate until you receive a negative result and follow health directions.

COVID ALERT - Friday 19th November 2021

Mornington District Basketball Association (MDBA) has been made aware that an unknowingly infectious COVID-19 case attended Mornington Basketball Stadium (Mornington Secondary College) on Friday 19th November 2021 during Breakers Try Outs, this person is a coach and was in attendance from 5.45pm to 11pm.

Those deemed close contacts have ALREADY been advised to seek a PCR test immediately, isolate, wait for a negative result and follow health advice.
All players, coaching staff and MDBA employees that were in attendance on Friday 19th November 2021 during this time and have NOT been contacted directly, must monitor for symptoms and test immediately upon the onset of any symptoms, isolate until you receive a negative result and follow health directions.
COVID-19 ALERT – Wednesday 17th November 2021
Mornington District Basketball Association (MDBA) has been made aware that an unknowingly infectious COVID-19 case attended Mornington Basketball Stadium (Mornington Secondary College) Basketball Court 1 on Wednesday 17th November 2021 between 4pm – 5.30pm.
Those deemed close contacts have been advised to test immediately, isolate, wait for a negative result and follow health advice.
Anyone else who has not been contacted directly but was in the stadium or facility at that time and develops symptoms should test immediately and follow health directions.
COVID-19 ALERT – Saturday 13th November 2021
Mornington District Basketball Association (MDBA) has been made aware that a unknowingly infectious COVID-19 case attended Mornington Civic Reserve (Dunns Road) Basketball Court 2 on Saturday 13th November 2021 between 9am – 10am testing positive on Monday 15th November 2021.
We have been in communication with the Department of Health and those deemed close contacts have been advised to test, isolate where applicable and follow health advice.
Anyone else who has not been contacted directly but was in the stadium or facility at that time and develops symptoms should test immediately and follow health directions.
