Mornington Basketball Summer 2021/22 domestic competitions are planned to commence from Monday 8th of November 2021.

Team registrations for Summer 21/22 are now closed. For late team entries please contact operations@morningtonbasketball.com.au - note most competitions are now at capacity and late entries may not be possible in all competitions.

We are cashless 

Mornington Basketball will no longer accept cash payments. All match payments must be pre-paid using Teammo. Team Manager's will need to create a Teammo account. For full details please follow this link https://www.morningtonbasketball.com.au/teammopayments/

Player registration

Every player MUST BE REGISTERED online in PlayHQ before commencing training and/or 7th November 2021.

To register as a player you will need to contact your team contact person to obtain a link to register with the PlayHQ system.

Conditions of Entry

  • Patrons must sign in via QR Code using Services Victoria App
  • Patrons 16+ must show proof of double vaccination either in Services Victoria App or hard copy
  • Exemptions from vaccination must be supported with approved documentation
  • All patrons 12+ must wear a mask upon entry (unless exempt) this includes players, refs and coaches while in a non exertive role
  • Please leave the stadium straight after your match

PATRON LIMITS (MBS & MCR)

  • 1 registered Head Coach
  • 1 registered Team Manager
  • 1 Scorer
  • 1 Parent or carer for players under 18 years of age
  • No siblings
  • No spectators

(Patrons includes all players, coaching staff, team staff, referees, employees, spectators, parents and volunteers)

Please note that vaccination requirements don’t apply to community sport, however this is subject to the venue user policy. Terms of entry are dictated by the venue operator including schools, councils and third-party entities who may choose to enforce vaccination requirements. Mornington Basketball operates in partnership with schools and third party venues and aligns with their capacity limits and vaccination requirements. The above conditions of entry are subject to change and will be reviewed following the next update to the Victorian Government Roadmap.

We are most grateful to Mornington Secondary College and Belgravia Leisure for allowing us to shortly recommence. Both Mornington Basketball Stadium and Mornington Civic Reserve will have additional COVID marshals checking in our patrons safely. If you are unable to comply with the above Conditions of Entry please return when you are able to fully align with the rules.

Coach and Team Manager - mandatory volunteer screening

All team staff MUST do the following prior to entering our venues:

  • Hold a valid Victorian Working With Children Check (WWCC) and MUST have Mornington District Basketball Association listed as an organisation you are associated with;
  • Register online with their team in PlayHQ (obtain link from Team Manager or person who registered the team); and
  • Sign in at every game and present your WWCC card.
