2021 Breakers Coaching positons are now open!

Mornington Breakers are seeking expressions of interest (EOI) for Head Coach and Assistant Coach positions for the 2021 VJBL Breakers season.

Come and join our Breakers coaching line up! We are a strong and reputable Club on the Mornington Peninsula focused on successfully developing our coaches under the management of our Director of Coaching, Andrew Sherwell.

We welcome expressions of interest from anyone over the age of 16 years whether or not you are new to coaching or an experienced senior coach. Mornington Breakers provide opportunities for ongoing education and support coaches to further their coaching aspirations.

Our Breakers coaches must hold or being willing to obtain a minimum of a level 1 coaching accreditation with Basketball Victoria. We will support any coaches that are successful with their EOI to gain the accreditation if required.

Our coaches are supplied with the necessary equipment to undertake their role and have access to additional training resources. Breakers Head Coaches receive a small reimbursement towards out of pocket expenses and uniform items.


All Breakers coaches must hold a valid Victorian Working with Children Check and submit a member protection declaration signed by a Justice of the Peace upon being appointed to a coaching position.

Expressions of interest are due by 5pm on Friday 21st August 2020.
